why is my dog panting 4 days after giving birth?

She seems to be fine except for panting and breathing fast and hard. Her puppies are healthy but I am worried about her so someone please help

well my dads dog had this milk problem and about 3 Weeks after giving birth she had this thing were she was panting couldn't stand up right and saw losing felling in her back leg then an hour after that her windpipe started closing up and she couldn't breath and she started shaking we took her to the vet and he said she would have died in 6 hours if we did not bring her to the vet she had this drip to take all the milk out of her and she was not aloud to see the puppies ever again beware it cost $600 but don't worry it's probaly something else. Such as see might just be stressed out

I would just take her to the vet and ger her checked out to make sure everything is ok. When my dog gave birth before she got really sick about 3 days after she also kept panting and was puking and the vet had to give her some shots and some medicine to stop the puking. it could be milk fever, which can kill a dog within an hour, you need to take the dog to a vet becouse this is not normal. Are u feeding her a high quality puppy food. And if it is milk fever u will have to bottle feed the pups every 2-3 hrs until they are about 6 weeks old. Please take your dog to the vet asap.
