what kind of meat bones can you give your small lap dog?

i have a ham bone from dinner yesterday and i remember our family always giving our big dog this type of bone when we had ham

Don't ever give your dog cooked bones as they are softer and can splinter. Never give your dog poultry bones of any kind as they are more fragile than other types of bones and can splinter.

Your dog's size doesn't really matter. I give the big marrow bones from the grocery store to any dog regardless of size. They also sell sliced ones that are fine for any size dog.
