What can i give my dog for fever?

My mom has a 110lb yellow labrador and he had ear mites but they got rid of it but it caused a bad rash and he is running a fever today, they are worried bout what to give him for the fever to help him, what over the counter drug would be good to use on a dog with fever?
My mom said she cant take him to the vet, they have no money, they have to deal with what they got. If she could take him to the vet she would, she loves that dog like a kid.
And yes, we know for sure he has a fever. Not high but its still a fever.

Nothing sold over the counter will help this dog. Walmart has a dog aspirin sold in the pet section, but that won't cure what is wrong. Here is a list of organizations who will help with veterinary bills:
