Call a vet right away! Maybe it's a puppy! Dog's also (like humans) have to be helped during birth!

It's a puppy. The bubble is the sac that the puppy is in.You need to make sure that she has the puppy soon,or it may die. If and when the puppy comes out,the mom should tear the sac off and start to clean the puppy. She may also eat the placenta. This is OK,but don't let her eat all of them if there are more than three puppies,as it can give her diarrhea. If she does not tear the sac,you will have to,then clear the puppies mouth with your finger and rub it briskly with a towel until it starts to breathe or cry. Then give it to the mom to finish cleaning. If she does not have any puppies within an hour, then call a vet ,as the pup may be stuck and the dog might need a C-section,during which the dog should be spayed. If she has the pups herself, you'll need to take the mom and pups to the vet within 48 hours to make sure everything is OK. And then please get her spayed!!

Are you sure it's not just the membrane of the birth sac of the first puppy as it's being born? If it seems abnormal or she seems to be struggling or in a lot of pain call the vet.

Sounds like she IS giving birth - please call or take her to your vet if you don't know what to do. OR - hopefully nature will take over and your dog will know what to do. The bubble could be the sack of the first puppy.

The sack is most likely the first puppy. By now, I would hope that it has passed and you have a wet, happy squirming puppy. If she passed the sack, and you do not see a puppy, tear the sack right away (as in don't even finish reading the message) because she may not know to do that and the pup cannot get out on his own.

As the pups are born, see how the mother reacts. She should tear their sack and lick the puppies vigorously. If she does not, you may need to the sacks and rub the puppies firmly with a clean towel to stimulate them to breathe. Clean around their mouth and nose really well. You can even hold them upside down for a second to help liquids drain.

The sack should not be visible for more than a minute or two before it comes out. If it is, there is a chance the pup is stuck and you need help. Consider calling a vet.

In the meantime, you can try to tug gently on the pup inside the sac as the mother has a contraction, but only if you think it may be stuck.

it sounds like your dog is in labour and what you should do is get her laying on her side and keep her calm. Whether that is with you in the room with her or not but you must keep an eye on her cause if she is gonna have a big litter then you will have to move the babies up to her mouth so she can clean them off.

Also after she has given birth go out and get a bag of puppy food for her to eat. That will help her heal faster and feed the babies

You might want to take her to a vet. Just in case. It's probably nothing to worry about.

You should leave her be because they like to deliver on their own.The only time you should mess with her or interfere with the birth is if she's having trouble. That bubble looking thing is probably a sac that she will bust before the babies come out.

It could be an empty sac or it could be a puppy. Really you should call a vet because you don't sound experienced enough to handle this on your own.

If it is like a grey or purple looking guey thing it is the amniotic sack starting to appear, this is her starting to have the pups just keep an eye on her and if she shows any signs of ditress or like she is having trouble please take her to the vet or even phone the vet just to get pease of mind that she is ok, but otherwiase just leave he to it and she should normally be fine.

It sounds like a puppy in the sac. Only assist if mum isn't doing her job - let her bite the cords and take the sac off the pups. If she isn't breaking the sac then pull it off the pup's head so it can breath. Encourage mum to nurse the pups straight away as this helps with both bonding and labour.

If they aren't moving then rub them with a towel and hold upside down. If mum is straining for too long or there is more than an hour between pups CALL YOUR VET.

Why are you only doing this research now.....??
