do u give yur dog a rabies shot once a year and it lasts a year ?

IF U READ THIS .... how do u no if the petshop employee gave rabies shot for it already and a health protection shot already at the month ?

Will keeping your brand new dog away from other dogs means that yur keeping it from rabies ?
CAN U ADD DETAILS ABOUT RABIES ?

rabies shots last at least three years if you have gotten one shot the new recommendation's by the American vet association are three years except that a puppy gets a booster one year after its first shot, but some states still do yearly shots.

I know rabies is a nasty disease that causes aggression but that is all I know
