Grooming a Cat after a Spay

My Cat got Spayed Last Monday the 4th. Its been 1 week and 1 day. Would it be ok to bring her to the groomers for a Cat Bath??? I wasn't sure about the chances of infection? Please help

I would wait. If she's smelling very bad, my vet suggested baby wipes when I got mine spayed. It works really well. You should wait until the stitches dissolve or are removed (depending on what type she has).

cats don't really need to be bathed, unless there is a skunk or flea issue. It is not good for the skin or coat, because it removes the oil that is there. It is really a bad idea to bathe a cat that has a wound that is healing. They do sell wipes that are made for wiping down cats, and baby wipes would probably work on the wound area if there is some kind of ooze or something.
