Depending on the shade,purple or blue,because those colors look nice on most dogs.

Red or a very bright Blue. They stand out nicely and in a complimentary way on her black fur.

I'd pick red for a guy. It represents the blood and the loyalty that me and my dog share. Blue is sad and gloomy. Black looks too plain on bright dogs and looks pretty bad on dark dogs (think about it). I would pick purple for a girl. Purple is the color of royalty. Very good color for a princess.
