I was about to buy a pure breed boxer, pug or even a bulldog. Which they all go for about 300 to 1000 each. But decided to "rescue" from a rescue place that only rescue pure breeds. The application is 3pages long, they have to visit your house and you have to buy everything on some list that they give you like toys, flea prevention stuff, vitamins, all kinds of crap. Plus they even visit the dog after you rescue it to see if you are providing him with a good home. I guess I understand why, but I makes me feel like its not even mine, its still theirs. So It makes me just buy one from someone on craigslist or a pet store. What should I do?
