Potty training issues with a 9 month old dog!!?

I have a 9 month old Olde English Bulldogge that for some reason will not poop outside, she tinkles outside, but will wait until we come back inside and poop inside her crate. We have had her since she was 4 months old and have been potty training ever since we got her. We think that she thinks the crate is where she needs to poop, so we locked the crate so she wouldn't be able to get in and now she just poops on the floor next to the crate. I am at my wits end, she is old enough to be totally potty trained. At one point she would poop outside, but will not anymore. We have thought about getting rid of the crate, but fear she will tear up the furniture or go potty everywhere.Does any body have any suggestions? Please help!!!

Have you tried putting the kennel outside to see if it is the kennel that is setting her in 'poop mode'?

Sometimes a friend's rat terrier will need to go back outside after a few minutes to do his number 2 business after already going out to tinkle. Try taking her out and walking her on a leash until she does both outside, then lots of praise and pets.

It could be she's gotta go tinkle right now, but it takes a few more minutes of walking around before she has do the rest of her business.
