i bought a coral banded shrimp two weeks ago and he was the only living thing in the tank. i bought a Blue hippo tang last week and added him to the tank. my shrimp acts really agressive to the tang, when it gets too close or swims by he puts his claws up and lunges...should i return the shrimp? is he trying to attack my tang or he is just trying to scare it off?
its a 45 gal tank with only 20 pounds of live rock, probably buying another 30 in a few days, with more live rock and territory ease the agression?
i know tangs need a 100, im uprgrading within the year if all goes well, this is just my first tank to see if i can handle it
