I'm interested in breeding livebearers, but I don't want to do the traditional guppies, mollies, platies, or swordtails.
Can anyone suggest some more unusual livebearers that don't need an enormous tank (as in stingrays and four-eyed fish)? I already have goodeids, and am looking for other ideas.
Thanks!
The reason I asked about livebearers specifically is that's a breeding class for the fish club I'm in. You get points for being able to breed a certain number of fish in each class, and you get higher points for more difficult species. Some of the classes are livebearers, New world and Old World cichlids, cyprinids, native species, invertebrates, and so on.
