View Full Version : My vet told me not to give my dog a bath 2 days before or after we give her
frontline, why is that? Frontline is supposed to be water proof and it says nothing about not giving them a bath on the box....so i just wondered.
It's so the medication can be absorbed into the skin so it can work.
My vet said its because the front line needs the body oils to spread. So you don't bathe them before and it takes time to get everywhere on your dog so you don't bathe them after for a little while. He also said to use soap-free shampoo to make sure you don't wash any effectiveness away.
