My puppy had been exposed to peony flowers that were in the backyard for 2 weeks. The dead flowers fell to the ground and he played with them. I don't think he ate them. So it's been weeks and he's not sick or anything. Will he be okay?
How soon do signs and symptoms of peony poisoning usually show?
(And yes, I'm removing the peonies.)
And I didn't even know that peonies are poisonous until a few minutes ago.
He's not sick; poops normally, eats normally, plays normally, etc. And it's been a while, so is it safe to assume that he's okay?
