! it should
2. not exactely sure what you mean..the males will have the long flowing fins and the females duller colors and shorter..generally, or are you talking about the fry?
3. http://bettysplendens.com/articles/page.imp?articleid=722
4. baby brine shrimp, egg yolk or infusior
5. NO! The male has to stay woith them until they are free swimming then he is removed.
6. See #4
7. Read the link i gave you. its far easier for you to read then for me to type it all out.
Generally the male will take care of the brood until they become free swimming, the after he is removed they are on their own and you have to feed three-four times a day. At around 2-3 months the males become nippy and ypu need to seperate them into individual containers then.
I really suggest you read the link.
Good luck!
1.i always use a 10 gallon tank but my brother in law likes to breed in a 3 to 5 gallon tank.and instead of a divider tank just use a mason jar,
(put the feamale in the jar)
2.girl has short fins and a small speck under her belly
3.look it up on bettatalk.com all your ancers will be there
