First of all you need to make sure you have all the information on breeding Betta's. Like even though you're trying to breed them you have to have a fairly large tank so they don't fight, also you must separate the babies once they're born etc. If you have all of that information that is good. As for the extras, you may find a local pet store that will buy them from you. Places like PetSmart, Petco etc will not buy animals from people, they only buy from licensed vendors that they trust. Other than that you could try craigslist or any other sites like that.

Don't give people pets as gifts, unless you know they are really wanting that type of pet!
If you were lucky enough to get a spawning (and chances are, you'll wind up with one or two dead or badly wounded fish, instead), you will be stuck with dozens, if not hundreds of fish that will need to be kept in separate tanks, and you'll likely be stuck caring for them until they die of disease, poor water quality, or old age. That can be 5 years or more.
If you don't want to spend the next 5+ years caring for many, many fish tanks (that will take up a lot of space and money), just give it up.
Betta breeding should be attempted only be experienced breeders. It is dangerous and difficult to successfully breed Bettas. They need to be properly conditioned for breeding, then introduced at exactly the right time, in exactly the right way. If you make a mistake, they will try to kill each other.
Just enjoy your fish and leave it at that!
