I have a pekingese dog who is 6 years old.
The symptoms started to show, so I took him to the vet. What his last vet did was, he had us going back and forth for all kinds of things. And he was working on some illusional health problem, that later on turns out it had nothing to do with what he's suffering.
His new vet diagnosed him with lyme disease. And we've been on antibiotics for 8 days now, 6 more to go.
He's not improving, in fact he's getting worse.
Now in Lyme disease, early diagnoses is the most important thing. And the longer it takes to start the treatment, the higher the chance of it causing the dog a permanent damage.
I wasted over a month with the other vet, and there' nothing to do about it now.
I really need some suggestions..
Thank you for your time
