2 months ago i got a 7-8 month cockatiel i got her form a breeder so she was not tame but i was like ok she be easy to tame right boy was i dead WRONG she bites and bites hard when you put your hand in the cage she runs back and forth and will not let me Touch her ive tied everything ive tired millet spary in my hands ( she bites the millet spary then my hand and back and forth ) ive tried just grabing her (she bite alot!) ive tried just talking to her solfty ( she looks at me and does this thing kinda bewteen a sigh and like if you breath out of your nose really hard ) but the other day i needed to clean her cage and did not want to get bite so i set her cage in the shower and she loved it
she even let me pet her i tried to pick her up but when i did she her eyes and i got a lil scared so i just went back to peting her
any advice this is my second bird but my frist one was a dove and she just let ya grab her a pet her she was really nice how do i tame my 9-10 month cockatiel please help
