In the lawsuit entitled Blue v. Blossom S, the plaintiff would allege counts for:
(1) negligent infliction of emotional distress for Blossom's failure to clean litterbox within 5 minutes of every use;
(2) trespass for Blossom's refusal to relinquish plaintiff's favorite spot on couch on demand; and
(3) reckless endangerment, for introducing young, amorous boy cat with "Pepe-le-Pu"-like tendencies into the household.
She wants everything - the house, the car, my husband ... I need to get a lawyer pronto!
Steph, Sunshine, and Julie: I think our cats have been colluding with an ambulance-chasing sleazeball attorney! I threatened my Blue with withholding of her treats if she didn't knock it off, and she muttered something about adding a "retaliation" claim to her lawsuit.
