I have two manganese fish that keep breeding in my 120 gallon tank. I'm not an expert on fish and know nothing about fish breeding. My intention wasn't breeding any of these fish but it happens and I want the fry to survive. This is about the fourth time they have bred and the past three time, no fry survived. I want them to survive this time. These are fresh water fish and I have many other fish in the tank but I usually separate the tank so the manganese and their fry can be left alone from the other fish, with a screen. What can I do to have this batch survive? Any info would be helpful. Are they getting eaten by their parents because they survive for a week but the their numbers grow smaller from day two of their birth, til there is none left.
