My cat got very ill last week, and i decided to take him to the emergency vets on monday night because he wasnt well and couldnt eat or drink. The vet told me he has a murmer in his heart and his lungs were filled with fluid so they had to put him to sleep, i was absolutely devastated by this, i had to stand there and watch him in pain and then watch him die, he was about 12 years old and he was like my best friend and i cared about him so much. Im finding it so hard to cope, i havent been to work and dont want to go back to work, i just want my boy back, i loved him so much! I didnt even take him home to bury him and i feel bad about that and i feel its my fault he got so ill! I always feel sick and have a headache, i always feel tired no matter how much sleep i get, and had stomach pains last night. I dont know if im going to be able to cope with this, can anyone give me some advice on what to do? I feel so lost because my sister went travelling for 6 months a couple of days after he died so i feel like i have no one anymore.
