Where should i look for a cat who ran away but does not know where to come back to?
I adopted a 6 month old kitten from a shelter, my girlfriend decided to hold the cat rather than put him in a carrier when we got home. When i ed the screen door, he flipped out and ran away. we have left food out, informed all the neighbors, looked all over the complex and put out fliers but im not sure if he would stay in the general area or just keep running maybe trying to go back to his foster home(which is close to 10 miles away). any ideas??
i got him yesterday around 2 and lost him at like 3. we walked around the neighborhood for about 6 hours with no luck
