My 6 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback woke me up howling in pain this morning. I went to check on him and gently pushing down on the side of his stomach, he started crying again. I thought it might be something to do with his stomach, so I am going to take him to the vet first thing tomorrow (none close enough this time of evening), but I wanted to know if anyone had any diagnosis for some bits of his behaviour? I fed him and he ate reluctantly - he didn't want to move to get his food, he only ate when I put it under his nose. He barely wants to move to do anything, which is very very odd as he is usually so excitable. He paced for about a minute before going to the toilet and he trembles every now and then. He looks generally sickly and depressive. Any ideas?
