Hey, I know you're thinking, wow, don't you know about puppy mills?
Yes. I do. And I do know about animal shelters. Well, I've been through many shelters around my area, and guess what? They all decline me because I'm a first time owner. I ask these shelters, what dog should I get then? Then they start recommending older, gentler dogs. And the thing is, where I live, there are no older, gentler dogs in the shelters.
I didn't want to at first, but I've been searching for months, and first-timers are not appreciated where I live.
