My cat used the litter box without the top on it, but when I placed the lid on it, she went to the bathroom in a different spot. Will she know that it's still the litter box or am I going to have to retrain her? I think she is just a bit scared of it. I tried to place her in there with the top on, but she was fighting me. Any tips?
Please do not tell me to take the top off. She learned how to use it the first time so she can learn how to use it with the top ON. When I first showed her where the litter box was, I took her paws and rubbed them in the litter and she learned.
