We have two cats , both She cats , both sisters , one is a normal tortoise shell coloured cat the other a bushy black cat . We have had them since they were kittens . The Tortoise shell one is very clean , she uses the litter boxes but prefers to go in our garden but the Black one , all of a sudden has started messing up the carpets , we don't know what is wrong with her . any ideas welcome .
Both cats have been nutered and four years old
one other little question , Cats being preditors will eat just about anything but they don't seem to like 'DUCK' flavoured cat food , WHY?
at night the cats sleep in seperate rooms and have seperate feed roughs and seperate litter trays
(Kumar) NO , Definatly Not , we live in a cat unfriendly area , I said to my wife that it is not fair to expect any cat to live long here but she took no notice of me . I do not like to see any animal hurt or killed , I know that motorists will not stop for an animal or bird in this area . I have had one cat too many run over on these roads which surround us , that is not the only problem, Game keepers kill cats as well because cats are preditors and fearing for the game bird chicks they kill the cats . After discusions with the vet , I have made special free runs for my cats , they wear collars which they both know how to escape from , to which a lead is fastend to a plastic cable , this gives them each an outside run on grass which is sheltered on one side , they have small shelters that are off the ground out of draughts where their food and water is kept and they can shelter from the wind rain , they have wood to sharpen their claws , they are kept in at night for their sake .
