My cat is a 6 month old kitten and I just got him neutered yesterday, and he is an outside cat. I cannot take him inside, I have too many cats as it is, and my husband will not let me have anymore inside. Well, he always plays out back where his bed,food and shelter is. Today he walked in front and we live in the country but we live off a major highway, not a freeway but a very busy road where the speed limit is 60 MPH. There is a car at least every 20-3- sec or more. Our house is 40 yards from the entrance to the highway. It would take him only second to walk onto the road. Well I am freaking out. When he walked as far as I thought he should go I picked him up and brought him to the back. I repeated this 3 times. What should I do? I have no where to confine him and he hates that anyway. I put him in my daughters room and he freaked out. So I let him back out. I am worried sick. What do I do. How can I train him to stay away from the road???? PLEASE HELP!!!
