My dog got groomed yesterday. Since we got him home he hasn't wanted to play, he just sleeps. He's been groomed before and I don't remember him acting like this last time.
He is a bichon-poodle and was very matted so they had to shave him. Could these have to do with it?
It also looks like there is a cut on his ear since he got home. I have touched it and he doesn't flinch (so it can't hurt too badly).
Just wondering, he's never acted like this before. He looks so sad and it's making me sad.
I thought he was ashamed of his puppy junk hanging out all over and feeling naked. My fiance told me I was being silly.
EXCUSE ME addict
I KNOW what a comb is, I use it on him every other day. I comb him thorughly but with such curly hair it is impossible to avoid matting (as I've been told by my vet and 3 different groomers). Do NOT be rude to me.
btw he has NEVER been muzzled. My groomer doesn't own one and neither do I.
He has always had fun at the groomers. She even bragged about how great he is there. He was happy, kept giving her kisses, playing with other dogs etc.
Matthew, thanks. I actually thought about the nails. I checked them and they were all cut but no where near the quick.
