i have a german shepherd. he is 1.5yrs old. i have not yet 'groomed' him coz here in our place, there is no professional groomer. he loves bath and i wash him 'thoroughly' with shampoo and all once a week, but is bathed is simple water 'everyday'. also that i brush him daily with a pin brush. but i am getting equal amount of loose dead hair everyday i brush him. is that any problem, coz he is still hairy as he used to be..he has a smooth shiny coat. i hav been givin him cod liver oil from his puppyhood for his hair.
what all should i do to keep his coat healthy considering the fact that i do not have a professional groomer around??
do i hav to do something extra??
