Hello all,

I'm getting about desperate here. Let me give you some history about my problem. There are 4 cats in my house at the moment. 3 are females and 1 is male. Now all the cats have been fixed so no babies in their future.

However, here is my problem. The male cat likes to jump the female cats. He actually attacks em. When this problem started I went to my vet and told him about it. The vet reccomended I fix up spray bottles with a weak solution of amonia water. The vet went on to say every time the male cat stalks a female, spray him with this solution. He will soon learn that stalking the other cats will result in getting sprayed. He will quit this behavior. The vet also told me to have a spray bottle in every room of the house.

But it didnt work this well. I have been using this method now for almost 2 years. The male cat figured out he can run away from the spray bottle and hide. So now he has gotten sneaky with his attacks. He now attacks and runs to hide. His behavior has gotten worse over time. All three of the female cats have taken to being down stairs in the basement during the day. (the male cat gets caged at night) Only at night do the females feel safe to wonder the house.

Now the past few months the male cat has gotten to where he sneaks down to the basement also to continue his attacks. I have also strengthened the amonia water solution in hopes that this would deter his behavior.

A friend has mentioned using a sound collar on the cat. However, it is the male cats behavior I want to change. To me a sound collar or an ultra sound device would scare the females and this would not work. So I am now searching for shock collars. All the places I have been to only carry the collars for dogs.

Can anyone help me find a collar for this cat? The only other solution I have is to remove him from the home. My daughter is desperately trying to keep this cat here. Thanks for your help.

Lol..didn't read that long a$$ explanation(I will when I have time)...but I would say Amazon Petco.(and yeh if you can't find one specifically for cats..like the previous person said buy one made for a small dog)
