My cat has been tearing up the couches and frankly, I'm done with my ruined furniture. I'm a little tight on money right now, so were are cheap places I can take my cat to get declawed?
let me set something straight. Do NOT tell me I'm in the wrong for wanting to declaw my cat. My couches are torn up and my 3 YEAR OLD has cuts and scratches alll over him from the cat. I am tired of seeing that! I CAN afford my cat, I'd lie to use my money on something that will keep me and my child living in this home! Do NOT yell at me for wanting my cat declawed! If you have a problem with it then DON'T ANSWER THE QUESTION! I don't care about your opinion!

you can't declaw your cat that is cruel. hows supposed to climb defend itself. you can clip the front ones never cut their back ones. buy a scratch tree or make one.

Declawing a cat is like cutting off your fingers at the last joint. Its painfull and cruel and means the cat can never go outside. Try it on yourself then decide.Rehome the cat or spend a little money and get a scratching post. If you can't afford and animal don't have one.

If you declaw your cat there's as much as a one in three chance that he will develop a behavioral problem, the most common being not using the litter tray and biting. Peeing all over the place will do a lot more damage to carpets, clothes, furniture and even floorboards than a few scratches. And I guess you don't want a biting cat around your kid...

Unless you want to take that risk, you should either spend the money on stuff for him to scratch instead of declawing, or get him rehomed. A clawed, healthy cat has a much better chance of finding a new home than a declawed one that bites and/or pees and poos all over the place.
