how do u work out how far into a pregnancy a dog is ? is it from the first mate or

from the 1st tie? i want no snotty answers like u should not breed i ave bred my dog as i want her to have one litter they will all have homes i am not doing this for the money
my dog is a real sweetie we mated her on the 5th march but she did not tie till the 10th march (the male and her loved playing though) but im not sure weather to work it out from the first time they mated or just from the first time they any help would be great thanks
from the fist time they met on the 5th they didnt tie all the time they tied once on the 10th and once on the 11th of march so we did not let multple matings happen all the time they tied twice and thats it

thanks for all your answers do any off u know can u use a fetal doppler on a dog my vets have advised me not to take her in for a scan as she is such a nervous dog but i would really like to hear her babys heart beats i was going to buy a doppler can anyone tell me if it will work

its usually from the first tie, you should only le them do it once as it only takes one time. if you continuously let them tie to many times it can cause premature pups. you should have kept them apart after you see them tie for the first time.

i would date it from the first time you saw them tie.

if they tied on the 10th then thats the date you use not the time the didn't tie
