Would having my cats bathed and groomed on a regular basis reduce the allergins...

...in my house? Many of my friends are allergic to cats and cannot come to my house because I have two of them. If I had my cats bathed and groomed on a regular basis, would it reduce the allergins in my house? If so, how often should I have this done?

It would help reduce the allergens. i would say doing it 2 times a month, depending on the cats reaction. however because of the cats having free range of the house it might not help much. Make shure to vacuum the rooms before your friends come over that you will be using. Try and get a air purifier. Those help allot too. My cousin is allergic to cats and his friend acutely had his cats shaved...i don't suggest it because how uncomfortable the cat must have been, but some people will go to extremes to help there friends. Also see the possibility's of just going over to there house, it might be the easiest and best way to help with there allergy's.
