We're guessing my female cat is pregnant. Her nipples used to be white and now they are fairly pink. They're noticeable because she is solid white. Whereas, before they weren't. However, our male cat is still trying to mate with her all the time. Yesterday he mated with her and she fought him as best she could and then yelped pretty loud. I know that is generally what happens when the male cats barbed penis stimulates ovulation. Does this mean that she must not be pregnant to begin with? Or do some cats just do this anyway? He seems to ALWAYS be trying to mate with her. We have only seen her in heat once, but he has tried mating with her many times. Not looking for judgment, thanks. Just helpful suggestions. I'd like to prepare things for her if she is pregnant, the sooner the better. Him mating with her is the only thing that makes me think she must not be. Any thoughts?
