We currently have carpet, but would like to upgrade to wood flooring. I know there are great alternatives to real wood and wood that has been super treated to be ultra resistant to wear and tear. We own two big dogs,and although we would keep rugs down in the high traffic area, I worry about them scratching the wood and causing major damage when the occasional accident occurs. What is the best wood or hard flooring alternative for a family that loves dogs?
