What's (in your opinion) the best breed of bird as a friendly pet?
I'm looking to get a bird in the next year or so, and was wondering what breed you liked best through experience.
I was thinking of a lovebird, but I know they need lots and lots of attention once tamed. I'm looking for a friendly bird that will be okay with me going to work, but will still be okay coming out of the cage for a visit without hassle. A cockatiel? Hmm. I'd only want a single bird, not two, so a bird that can also handle being alone. A parrot?! Decisions, decisions. =) |
