My dog has lost his balance and the use of his front legs?
He is a 10 year old cockapoo that went mostly blind about 8 months ago. The other day he started to wobble and seem unbalanced. By later that day he was unable to use his front legs. I took him to the vet and the xrays were negative. The Vet said it is unusual for a dog to lose just the front legs like this. All other functions seem just fine and she ruled out a stroke. She said that he may have some type of infection but didn't give any treatment, just recommending time and rest. My poor dog doesn't seem to be in any pain, he just lays there. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it possible that it will just "go away?" Surgery is not an option due to budget constraints. Please help
