Do Cats make lots of noise when their mating?

Could it sound something like a cat fight? Loud meowing, agitated meows, growling, deep meows?

(Long story but I need to know)

Yes. The male has barbs on his genitalia which causes the female to make a lot of noise during the process. The only difference between their mating sounds and fighting sounds is hissing, you wouldn't hear any hissing during mating, but lots during fighting.
