...puppies and they look like him.? I am wondering if he was neutered too early and they had not descended before he was neutered (called a crowd cut) is it possible that they didnt remove the testicles but cut the supply line like they do with human males. I know it is possible for a mans cut to heal its self. Is it possible with dogs?
I believe that he may indeed be a cryptoid. He has no scars, and believe me I have been looking since my girl came up pregnant. No other males have been around her as she was secluded with the thought to be neutered male durring her heat. We got Kyser under interesting circumstances, but never thought to have his blood tested for testosterone. I honestly think that these pups are his, all his markings are present, as is the shape of his head. As for spaying my female, I think that it is my family's choice. Since we live with a pack, and take very good care of them. Thank you for all your advice it is much appreciated.
Ok, to clarify. My female was secluded. When I say that I mean that! She was not around any other male dog of any type, so this is either an immaculate conception, or he isnt as fixed as he seems. I am leaning toward cryptiod. I can not get in touch with the shelter, because he was found by a nun in my church in Oklahoma City. The vet she took him to said it appeared that he was neutered, but she said that no tests had been done to confirm it.
I give up on this, too many contradicting answers, and no one agrees. With the possibility of another dog gone there is only one sire. I am a very responsible pack owner, and know when my female should come into heat. Two weeks before she begins to bleed, I isolate her from the other dogs, leaving only Kyser with her. He has been her companion from the get go and they are always together. I trusted that she would be ok with him because he seemed to be neutered, but after looking and looking I have sound no scars. Also I called the vets office in OKC and asked if they had neutered him, they said no that he came in that way and they never thought to check his blood either. So I am back to square one. I may have the Virgin Mary of dogs here.
Wolfe Femme I can't stand people that think they know what is best for others. As for my role as a pack leader, I am not new to raising dogs. I have been breading and raising champion German Shepards since I was six years old. It is a family tradition, and you are an insult to animal lovers. My family does not believe in altering an animal to make our lives easier or more beautiful. You take the easy way out, we choose to be involved with our animals. I have homes for every one of the puppies that were born. Yes an accidental pregnancy, yet none will be a burden. They will be loved and adored. I didn't ask anyone here what they thought about the fact that my dog isn't spayed. I asked if anyone knew how this could have happened because I have not experienced something like this. Stop judging people and telling them what to do. Just answer the question asked and keep your opinions on spaying and neutering to yourself. I didn't think this was the spay and neuter forum.
Wolf Femme you have no idea what you are talking about, and a persons typing does not reflect on them personally. That just shows you what kind of closed minded person you really are. No I did not expect to be treated like a criminal for asking a question. You still do not know me or my situation, or what kind of person I am. Nor am I going to try to defend or explain myself. Yes my dogs are papered. I have AKC papers from my orginal bitch (got her when I was 6) and for every puppy she ever had. Including my female that just had puppies. I have supplied dogs to many police departments, so my dogs are not just great to look at they have an important job to do. If you have one thing bad to say about police dogs I suggest you keep it to your self. Yes the dog that got her pregnant was a RESCUE from a shelter, but the puppies have homes. So untill you know a person or their family, dont be so quick to judge.
