been there done that. you basically have to sit the animal on your lap [the dogs "prey"] and hold your dog's collar. let the dog sniff. if your dog tries to snap at the animal, pull him back and say "NO" in a firm voice. cuddle the animal in front of your dog to let the dog know that its not prey. this worked with my dog and bunny, good luck.

Well, a dogs natural prey in a household would be vermin, like a mouse or a rodent. You have to be more specific about these family pets. If it's another dog, or cats, or a rabbit, you need to show her that you will not tolerate her attacking the other household pets. A simple NO in a loud stern voice should do the trick. Or if she starts stalking one of your other pets like she is going to attack, you need to push her away or show her she needs to back off.

Hold her by her collar and have the other pet walk passed your dog. If she starts to pull, you make a quick 1 second tug back and say NO.

The dog is to be separated from the other family pets when you can't supervise, until she can be trusted with them.

I was told to keep a leash on the dog and correct whenever he showed interest in the cat. Unfortunately that didn't work so well. The other option would be for you to intervene dog style when the dog started towards the family pet.

FYI, it is very, very hard to show a dog "chase this but don't chase this". It needs to be all or nothing.

Carefully watch her, when she goes for the family pets correct her with an ah at command. Say it loudly and this will interrupt her train of thought and it isn't pleasant for the dog to hear, teaching them that attacking the other pets leads to a bad noise. Good luck
