Unspeyed bitches, and those who have never had puppies are prone to mamary tumours, but don't be too alarmed, as they are treatable, if caught and treated quickly. However, this lump may not be anything to worry about, but the only way you will find out is by a visit to your vet. Good luck, I hope it's nothing to worry about.

could be cancer or it could be just fatty tissue - the only way to know is to continue with your vet visit..I found one on my dog - turned out just to be fatty tissue - sebaceous cyst.

Don't jump to conclusion and think the worst - just take her to the vet and find out what it is and get it treated. No way of knowing what it might be without being able to see it!

"I am going to take her the vet but i would like to know before hand what it could possibly be"

But this is a contradiction in terms - the reason you're going to the vet is to find out what it could possibly be!

Point is, you won't get any useful ideas on here because it just isn't possible. All you'll get is a load of paranoia - I hate it when people come into the surgery saying "I've looked up his symptoms on the internet and they match exactly with blah blah "insert impossible diagnosis" exactly".

Do yourself a favour and wait to see the vet, don't go looking up stuff on the internet. Trust me, all it does is cause hysteria and paranoia and impede you working with the vet to find out what it ACTUALLY is. The vet will need to ask you some questions, have a feel of the lump and maybe do a test to determine what it is - it won't help if you're hopping about in the background going "Could it be a X? Could it be Y? Shouldn't you be testing for Z?"
