So let's say there's 2 guppies in a 15 gallon tank, male and female.
The female gets pregnant, after a while goes into a different tank and delivers her fry. When would be a good time to put the female back in her tank? When can you put the babies back in the tank? AND!! Once the babies are back with the mom and dad, will they still breed? Or finally stop? Since now there will be more of them Thank you. |

Ou should take the female out right after she is done giving birth. Don't put the babies in until they're big enough to not get eaten, and a female guppy can hold the males sperm in her. She can get pregnant a few times from a single mating session. As long as you have a male and female guppy, you will have a pregnant female.
Hope I helped! |

(by that i meant putting the mom back in with her guppies) Well before u put the mom back in the tank they have to grow ALOT bigger then they are when they are first born or the mom will eat them. not fully grown but atleast bigger then her mouth i have .. like 30 guppies in my tank now and they do continue to breed with one another. it doesn't take long for the mom to get pregnant again
hope i helped

Put the female back in her tank quickly, since guppies are opportunistic feeders, and will eat food that fits into their mouth such as their own fry. If you want to be safe, you can use drip acclimation to acclimate the female guppy(who will be stressed after releasing fry) from tank to tank.
Babies can go back in the tank when they don't fit into another fish's mouth, or if you have lots of hiding places(planted tanks are great) for the fry to hide, so only a few get picked off and eaten. The adult guppies will keep on breeding. The young will breed once they get bigger as well, but you should get guppies from a different location, since the young are related and their offspring will be weaker and have a higher chance of getting genetic defects. If you don't want more fry, give them away, feed them, or get only males/only females. Good luck
