I know puppies need lots of food and water while they're growing up, but my 3 month old Shiba Inu likes to gulp up all of her water right after she comes in from a walk, then she has accidents on the floor a few minutes later. We always have a Wee Pad out for her to go on, which she usually does, but she doesn't seem to have much control over her bladder. She also had a tendency to wet the bed in her sleep and since she's such a neat and clean breed, the poor girl won't even sleep in her own bed anymore. Sometimes she gets so excited while she's playing, she'll just pee where she's standing which is very uncharacteristic of her. She even has had an accident on our bed while I was putting her leash on her to take her out. I know she doesn't like soiling our bedroom (where her crate, food, water, and toys are) because she sneaks downstairs if the door's so she can pee somewhere other than her space.
We take her out every two hours, sometimes every hour if we can. We give her water frequently, but is it ok to limit how much we give her at a time? The last thing I would want is to deprive her of what she needs at this young age!
