I am at wits end with my Dog. Pody Training help!?

The dog I am having problems with is a Chi-Weenie (Chihuahua / Dachshund)

He is going on 2 years old.

I have been very consistent with this dog. I've pody trained countless dogs, but for some unkown reason, Cooper will not housebreak!

One method that I have not used, and will NEVER use, is kennel breaking. (Leaving the dog in their kennel, constantly. When they are let out of their kennel they are walked outside [hopefully they do their business] and come inside just to be put back in their hell whole/domain). Please do not reccomend this method.

I have been told that some dogs will never be able to be pody trained. I have a hard time believing that, but everyday I sadly believe it more and more.

Any ideas?
I am tired of dealing with crap!

A 2 year old dog has pretty much formed his habits. And you're right - sometimes they just never learn. But nothing's impossible, and maybe you will eventually succeed at housebreaking him. If you're at your wit's end, you might even try hiring a professional dog trainer. He/she might have some creative methods for teaching an older dog new behaviors. Or check around online...there are lots of sites that offer advice about this kind of thing. Here's a link to one page:
