Dog Grooming I just got a new puppy he is a Morkie should I take him to a groomer to be groom? thread , His nails need to be trimmed also he is so scared of the nail clippers how can I trim them?...

Your groomer can trim your mutts nails and hair.

The groomers are well equipped to take care of problem dogs. The sooner to get him acquainted with the process, the better in the long run.

If I were you, i would take him to a groomer. They know what they are doing so there is nothing to be worried about there.

No such thing as a Morkie.
If this dog has all of its shots, yes it should go to groomer.

Probably best to take him to a groomer. They are professionally trained for trimming nails and you arent.

Yes. The earlier you get him started on grooming the better he will be as he grows up. Handle his feet a lot, separate all his toes, hold on to the nails. Get him used to having his feet handled so it will be easier on him when it comes to clipping nails. When a dog fights getting it's nails cut there is a higher chance that the nail will be clipped too short & bleed plus it hurts. Which makes them even more afraid of the clippers.
