im looking for a Pomeranian puppy, but i dont want to spend loads of money because im having to buy it myself. does anybody know how much they are?

At a reputable breeder, anywhere from $300 to $3,000.
At the shelter $50-100.
I got one of my Poms from the Shelter.
And she is an absolute doll.

- you can change the location to where you live, but you are likely to find that all the puppies are under $500...also, you would be saving a life, because all the animals at this site are from rescues or shelters.

I paid $1000 for my pomeranian I got him when he was 12 weeks. He's now 7 months old and I have probably spent at least $1000 on food, toys, bowls, vet, shots, heartworm meds, flea meds, neuter. Puppies are very expensive. If you don't want to spend a lot of money, look into a pomeranian rescue and get an adult. They are usually spayed/neutered and have all their shots. They also usually cost much less than a puppy.

Don't forget buying the dog is the cheap bit!

You'll have to spend up to £300 in the first 4 weeks on injections and microchipping, then getting it spayed/castrated at 6 months and then booster injections every year, not to mention food, insurance and kennels for when you go on holiday.

An average medium dog can cost over £10,000 in it's lifetime.
