I don't know what they're called.

He loves to catch them and eat them, and it's warmer now so there's a ton of them flying around. Well, he's been eating them for a few days and it looks like there is blood in his litterbox. Does this have to do with the bugs?

I don't really like him eating them, but he seems so happy trying to catch them so i let him
The bugs look like really big mosquitos with long legs
they're not mosquitos.

I looked it up, they're called mosquito hawks.
or a crane fly.
