Don't break in, call the Realtor or owner and Animal services.
Otherwise you could get in trouble. You could also throw him some food and wait |

Keep paging the realtor and make sure that you say its an emergency.
The cat will be okay for a few days, if necessary. |

There's usually a way to break in without damaging stuff. If it were my kitty, I'd be look for a way to do that. Disclaimer: You're probably risking arrest if you do it, but I personally would anyway.
Any real estate agent should be able to help you if they have a lock box on the house. Agents have a special key for access. |

Call to see the house--The realtor will respond to that (= or you could call the owner. I am sure they don't want a cat in the house they are selling.

Don't worry. As long as you know he is safe he can go a few days without food and water. Keep trying to get in touch with the realtor for another day. I am really surprised that the police wouldn't help you. If you don't get an answer soon I would call the police or animal control and calmly tell them what the situation is and that you WILL break a window (and pay for it) to get your cat out. If it falls on deaf ears go get your cat!

First call the company that has the house for sale, any real estate agent of that company will be able to get the door . If that doesn't work, have an older peson call and pretend to be an interested buyer who is in town for only a day and must see the house now! : money talks! If that doesn't work, I would think that the police would be able to at least allow you to crawl into the screened part while they watch to make sure everything is on the up and up. If that doesn't work, personally, I'd call the police and tell them that you can't get ahold of the agent, be very nice, tell them you know they can help you, that they are here to serve and protect and your kitty needs the help of a big stong policeman.
You could also find out if you could just the screen and hold out some food to get your cat to come to you, ask the police if that would be do-able. I have to wonder how your cat got in the house? If it got in on it's own, then he can get out, stand outside with some food and call for him to see if he can get out on his own. BTW, if you go in the house, your kitty will be very scared, have some food with you to lure it out, be sure to close the entrance you go in to so your cat can't escape, take a towel with you to wrap it in and a carrier to put your cat in to transport it, or it may scratch you and get away again. And from now on keep your kitty in your house. |

i hate cats. but i feel really sorry for u. i have no idea what to do. u already called police and stuff but u should ask the police if it would be alright to break into the window since ur cats life is in danger. i think theyd let u get away with it. firefighters and police should be allowed to go in if something is going to die. other thatn that maybe u can find out who the ppl r who are trying to sell the house and see if they have a key and can rescue the cat. other than that until u reach the agent, u could try to figure some way in order to get water and/or food to the cat. it got in there some way so maybe that space is big enough to get it some food. good luck and hope u save ur cat!!!!

If you have a local ASPCA inform them. their main job is to rescue animals. If you don't have an ASPCA then just keep calling the Realtor who is in charge of selling the house. leave messages on the answering machine. Don't loose hope.

If all these people won't answer call the local newspaper and local news channels. Make it public. Someone will respond to that surly. I am sorry about your cat. goodluck Oh and you don't have to use that specific realtor to get in just call any of them and tell them what is going on and keep trying. All realtors will have a code to get in just keep calling.

Just a thought and you may have already done this, but often times the realtor signs have only particular phone numbers on them. Have you tried to look up the realty company in the phone book and see if there is a main number which is different than what you have---and a different realtor with the same company could help you. Good luck..
