Your fine. If the cat doesn't have rabies or worms then you can't get sick. And if the cat is nice and playful I doubt it would attack anyone for any reason. If it's threatened it'll just run and hide under a bed or something so you won't have to worry about anything.
I don't think anyways.

No, cats do not have any diseases that can be passed to a baby.

In fact, many studies have shown that children who grow up with animals have much fewer allergies later in life.

The contact with the animals causes the child's immune system to produce antibodies which protect the child from many allergies.
