Default Cat fleas, front line flea protection and grooming.?

Hello

I would like to know if I have accidentally taken of the good effects of frontline from my cat when I groom him with the flea comb which has become mixed in water.

I understand that its possible to wash out Front Line, and so now I wonder if its possible i have neutralised its effect by grooming the cat.

I am still finding many fleas ... in region between 10 fleas each day I groom him.

If Front line was working after 1 week he should not have any right ?

**************here is some more infomation *************
IF YOUR HOUSE / cat HAS FLEAS….

I have a NATURAL remedy for getting rid of fleas in your house.
I DO NOT LIKE SPRAYING INSECTICIDE AROUND THE HOUSE.

Go to the Store and buy some 20 Mule Team BORAX. (you find it in the soap isle if you can’t find it ask the manager to order some for you)
Then sprinkle it all over. Carpets, couch, bedding, pillows, PET BED’s, car, even wood floors.
I walk around on the floor so it gets down into the fibers. Rub your hand over the couch, etc.
(NOT ON YOUR PET!)

THEN VACUUME IT UP.

What Boax does is coats the eggs ... The eggs hatch deformed or unable to reproduce.
You will have to do this 2 or 3x about a week apart in order to get all the egg cycles.

Since I did this I no longer have fleas in the house. Since you vacuume it up it is not a danger to pets or children.

FOR YOUR PET. Use the topical flea killer that is on the market or wash with Dawn dish washing soap (make sure to rinse all soap out) and use a flea comb (this is also a head lice comb) especially for kittens or puppies who are too young to have insecticide put on them.
Kill the fleas that you find on the comb with soap or alcohol

i used that and the vet told me that it is absorbed into the bloodstream and that i can bathe my cat as normal.i left it on my cat for over a week before bathing.my cat still had fleas.they said i had an infestation somewhere in my home causing them to come back.we fogged and sprayed everywhere we can possibly spray.that didn't work.next time i'm using advantix.it has always been a winner for us.we have never had this problem before till we switched to frontline.

Unfortunately most commercial flea products contain chemical insecticides that can cause liver damage and other problems – both for your pet and for you, so its best to stay away from them!

You can try using Target Spray for Fleas instead. Feline Target Spray is an all-natural alternative. It is a highly effective insect repellent, which discourages fleas from nesting on your cat.
