Is this a Nebelung Cat ?? Please help any Cat experts.?

someone dumped off a mom cat and her whole litter at the pound. I was fortunate to find this baby. The entire litter of 7 looked exactly the same!! All grey/ blueish with silvery tips of shiny hair. Big green eyes and a puffy tail. He is the most laid back cat ever. I ran across a picture of a Nebelung cat and am wondering if by chance he might be one without the old owners knowing or caring. I just wanted to know if he is or not. He is neutered so no worry about me trying to breed him, just curious.

The reason why I was asking is that people are curious about his breed. He has a great temperment, laid back, low shed, beautiful coat , etc. If anyone who sees him is interested in that kind of look/ temperment, I would like to steer them in the direction of the breed he most resembles. Thats why I was asking.
Being a dumpster dump off at the pound, I know he isn't a purebred cat. haha. But to me he was the best find ever.

It's certainly possible.

While rare... they are out there. I've met 2 actually. However, since DNA testing for breed isn't available for cats yet, there is no way to be certain.

Well, he does look like one but without a pedigree certification, it is really difficult to be 100% certain. There are blue long hair domestic cats as well.

Nebelung are really rare and is mostly referred to the long haired Russian Blue.

He is gorgeous btw and really in a sign of good health most importantly.

Doubtful - they're not very common. And 97% of the cats on this PLANET are of no particular breed. He's a beautiful cat - does it really matter?
